On Monday 7, the White Sox give a nod to the past and a glimpse of the future with the Double Duty Classic at U.S. Cellular Field. In addition to gifting the Negro Leagues Baseball Museum with $10,000, the White Sox will commemorate the 75th anniversary of the first Negro League All-Star Game (played at Old Comiskey) with another all-star game, this time featuring inner-city high school players from across the Midwest. Let’s hope this first-ever turns into an annual rite of summer.
